Applicants must have won first, second, or third place in international or national competitions, or have obtained Class A or Class B technical certifications, or other certifications recognized as equivalent to Class A or Class B. | TOEIC | 945 or above | 785 or above |

2. Application Period and Units
1. Application periods for awards:
Applications are accepted twice a year. This period is from March 13 to April 11, and the second period is from October 1 to October 25.
Students must record their certification information via the e-Care system, upload a copy of the certificate, and print the application form from the system for submission.
For group competition winners, each member of the team must individually fill in the competition details in the e-Care system and upload a copy of the award certificate. The application form printed from the system will serve as the submission basis.
2. Processing unit:
Students who meet the above qualifications must first submit the application form and supporting documents to their department office for initial review. The department will verify that the system records match the printed application form. After passing the initial review, the department staff will submit the forms to the college for approval. The college then consolidates and forwards them to the Internship Section of the Office of Research and Development for final review. All original application documents must also be sent to the section mailbox.
※Students must ensure that the postal account listed on the application form is their own account, not a parent’s or someone else’s account.
3. After final review, qualified applicants will receive the award according to the approved amount, with the Internship Section requesting the funds to be deposited accordingly.
3. Notes for Applicants
1. Eligibility for the first application period:
Applicants must have obtained the award or certification between August 1 of the previous year and January 31 of the current year and be among the top three in competitions or have passed Class A or B certifications.
2. Eligibility for the second application period:
Awards or certifications obtained between February 1 and July 31 of the current year are eligible for top three competition placements or Class A/B certification.
4. Restrictions for Freshmen and Early Applications for Graduating Students
1. Freshmen must obtain certifications or national competition awards after enrollment in September. Only achievements obtained as a student of this university are eligible, with award certificates and technical certifications attached (initially reviewed by the department—competition certificates, verification of issuance dates, and original documents returned after verification).
2. Freshmen achievements obtained not as a student of this university are not counted.
3. Graduating students may apply early if the award or certification was obtained after February 1 of the graduation year and can provide relevant proof.
5. Process Description:
1. Award distribution standard: distributed based on award amount and number of applicants.
2. Application procedure:
Departments first submit the skill competition award applications to the Internship Section. The first period ends by April 11, and the second by October 25. Applications that fail the final review will be returned to departments by April 20 (first period) or November 30 (second period). Qualified applications along with a copy of the applicant’s postal account will be reviewed and processed for payment by May 30 (first period) or December 15 (second period).
3. Teams that have already applied for the same competition award through the university and received funding may not claim the award again for the same competition. Awards issued outside the university are exempt from this rule. If the same person/team wins multiple placements, only the highest ranking is awarded once.
4. Language proficiency or professional certification awards can be applied for separately, but awards for the same level can only be claimed once; different levels will receive the highest award once.
※※To comply with the university’s data integration, the e-Care system is used for recording student learning history. Students must submit certification and competition applications via e-Care, not the e-portfolio system.
Attached is the e-Care system operation manual for reference. For system inquiries, contact Mr. Zhai at the Computer Center, ext. 5907.
